Why can't I create component groups

I'm an project administrator in Jira Service Management.

We wanted to have two different requests each with a component drop-down menu.
We didn't want both menus to show the same components so I went to try to create component groups. Couldn't do it.

I searched atlassian help guides and it says;

Create a component group

1. Navigate to Components from the left sidebar.
2. Click Add component.
3. Click the dropdown menu under Component group.
4. Select Create new component group.
5. Enter a component group name.
6. Finish entering the new component details.
7. Click Save component.

My problem is that I don't have the nr.3 dropdown menu or "Component group



How do I solve my issue?

It is not Jira - it's StatusPage product. Jira has not component hierarchy

You can install plugin with fields hierarhy and create list of choice manually or use Atlassian Insight with related child-parent fields
