Where to install JIRA Service Desk?

We currently run a number of Atlassian products, including JIRA. We have now purchased JIRA Service Desk and would like to know where the install this. We found in a test that if Service Desk is installed on the same server as JIRA that they appear to conflict each other. What is the prescribed method to install this product where other products exist?

@Mark O_Neill, there should be no conflict if installed on the same server. That is the typical config. If you are seeing an issue then please elaborate.

Hi Mark,

You can go to Versions & Licenses page in Jira in order to install Jira Service Desk if you want it to work with your existing Jira instance:

https://BASE-JIRA-URL/plugins/servlet/applications/versions-licenses
