When importing data, how to define objects from a separate schema?

Greg_Cooper September 12, 2024

Hello,

I am importing asset data via CSV into Jira Service Management, and one of the attributes refers to a service defined within a separate schema. How can I correctly define this within the Import Attributes Mapping? What is the correct AQL syntax for this purpose?

To be more precise I have one schema named 'VSDG' with all company asset information, this is what I am importing into. Whereas my companies services are listed in the default 'SERVICES' schema. The SERVICES schema are named as the dependencies on some of these assets and therefore I need to reference these services.

Regards,

Greg Cooper

Hi @Greg_Cooper

Unfortunately, you can reference objects from different schemas within an import, only in the schema you are importing to.

You can look at this issue; JSDCLOUD-14124
