Viewing a client's or user's info when an agent is raising a request for him

Hello everyone,

I'm experimenting with the notion of "an agent raising a request on a client's behalf", like it would be the case if the support was being called by a client.

I want the agent to be able to find the client (like with a user-picker field), but I also want him to view the client's profile to confirm his identity (like phone number or mail address).

Right now, I can find the client with a user-picker field. However, viewing his profile (on hover => it shows some information) is only possible on the project>issue screen. These information on hover are not showing via the portal.

Am I maybe missing something here ? Maybe an agent raising a request for the client doesn't need to do it via the portal ?

I thank you in advance for reading me :)

Dylan

Hi Dylan,

It sounds like you need one of the enhanced profile plugins from the Atlassian Marketplace. Cheers!

Hi Dylan.

Insight can indeed help with this use case. If you want to get further inspiration, we have a published case study about how one of our partners uses Insight as their CRM. And being a partner (Abano), they could also help you with the implementation if needed.
