Trying to assign specific request type to a user

Simon August 3, 2022

Hi

Hope someone can see where I'm going wrong with this.  The "IF" statement is not triggering for some reason.  Tried with the second value in "" as well as without.  I took the smart value straight from the list on JIRA.

cheers

hi

Turns out the field type was

{{issue.Request Type.requestType.name}}

but you're suggestion of testing the smart field helped find this...

For some reason although the IF part of the condition matches its still not assigning to the right person ?

Hi,

i am looking at this and what i can see is the double requesttype in your smart value. Not sure about this and i dont have the possibility to test it right now, but give it a try.

{{issue.reuquesttype.name}}

just a tip if your not sure if the value ist correct and what it countains. use the mail OR comment action and add the smart value. Than you can see its content and compare it to your expectations.
