Hi,
We are currently testing Forms in order to add some info to the ticket created by the customer.
This is what we like to do:
We have 2 fields on the request 'Impact' and 'Urgency', the priority is that calculated after the creation of the ticket.
In order to make the priority visible to the customer, the only solution we could find is that add a form to the ticket with the priority field in it.
We're doing this using automation, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to submit the form so that it isn't editable anymore.
Any suggestion on how to 'Submit ' the form after it has been added by Automation?
You should be able to expose the Priority and make optional on the Request. While it would be editable by the customer at the time of creation it really won't matter since it will be overwritten post-create. It won't be editable by the customer post-create.
