If you share a comment with customer - JIRA sends a notification mail to all participants. That fine and exactly what we need. It also shows the participants in this notification by using the variable ${request.sharedwith}. That is wonderful - BUT:
When there are more than 4 participants it does not show any single name. Instead it shows something like "Marcus Miller, Axel Smith, Sara Jones and 3 others."
But we need to see the names, not "3 others". Is that possible somehow?
Any setting that limits it?
Thanks.
Is there an add-on that does include all the participants? This is extremely crucial in a lot of business environments. We been having to add the participants manually into the ticket because our customers need this information.
Hi Alexender,
our consultant had the advice to disable default notifications and use JETI Plugin to send the notifications. There all participants can be included. You can configure it for each notification seperately. We did not implemented it so far but that is our plan. Maybe that also works for you.
Best regards,
Tony

Hi Tony,
Thanks so much for your question.
We're always working hard to improve Jira Service Desk for every user, by balancing the short and long term needs of our customer base.
In this instance, we've decided not to make any changes.
If you feel like this is something we must address, please raise a request with Support <https://getsupport.atlassian.com>.
Thank you,

Hi there,
Can you also please help me knowing if the external Participants receive the email where they can also see who all other customers are included ?
Or everybody ( external customer) receives the individual email ?
Thanks in advance.

The question above is particular to the External Participants who are not having the access to our Customer Portal. They will be only receiving the emails on public comments on Issues.
If there are 4 External Participants in the Issue, does one Partipant knows who ( apart from him) has received the same email?

Forgot here to mention that I got the answer here..
In the Customer Notification Template when Public Comment is added, the template can be designed in a way ( normally its Standard) that below in the email, there can be a list of Participants shown.
"Name1, Name2, Name3 are participants of the Issue"
Note: ${request.sharedwith} variable can be used in Template.
