Service desk upgrade

Hi Team,

I Need to upgrade service desk. 

Am very new to this , 

JIRA and confluence are in one VM and Service desk is in another VM.

Last week we have upgraded JIRA and Confluence .

JIRA7.4.2 to 7.12.1

Confluence6.2.2 to 6.6.8

As our support is till 26th September 2018 so we are able to do till that version only.

Now we need to upgrade Service desk.

1. How do i get the current version of Service desk?

2. Should i install JIRA software before service desk in this VM?

Hello,

You can install Jira Service Desk before or after Jira software. It does not matter. What matters is the version of Jira Service desk. If your Jira core is 7.12.1 then Service Desk must be 3.15.1
