Service Desk Cloud vs Server

I trialed Service Desk Cloud and loved the way it looked and felt. I purchased and installed the Server edition and it looks like standard Jira. Did I miss something here that helps me get to way it looked when I trailed it on Cloud?

Cloud and server are diverging. Cloud has the new UI experience, introduced about 6mo back. There is not definitive date for server. For sure Atlassian will wait for it to play out fully in cloud.

Cloud and Server have been different products for a while now. You can't expect them to be similar, despite the (now misleading) same names.

The UI for Server may eventually be replaced with the Cloud one, but it's not going to happen for a long time (hopefully not before all the problems with Cloud are fixed or abandoned - it really is horrid for a lot of users at the moment)
