I am using Power Automate to create a new issue in Jira, this is working perfectly and selecting an issue type of Service Request however I cannot figure out how to automatically set a 'Request Type' within the new issue details.
Having an unselected Request Type means it isn't appearing for users.

Welcome to the community. Since Power Automate is a 3rd-party addon, I would recommend you to reach out to the vendor for further assistance.
However, here is something that you can consider is adding a post-function call in your WF for the issues at the creation transition. You will need to identify the WF associated with your issue types in your JSM project, then customize the specific WF to add in the post function call to set the issue's Request Type.
