Hey,

This can't be done natively in Confluence, but there is a add-on 

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/247/content-formatting-macros-for-confluence?hosting=server&tab=overview

that does what you need.

I am have the same issue, it is so frustrated. In older version there is much flexible section management. but now it is bear minimal and very handy caped.

Even worse, there are bunch mom pap shop inserting all kinds of ad try to sale their plugins. This is not an healthy way for confluence to force customer to go to plugin so that they can make more money!!!???
