No group participants for Service Desk and organizations are manual upkeep.

Edited

I am running the latest version of service desk in production for the last week or so.  Most of it's going well, but something I overlooked in testing was the inability of customers to add JIRA groups to the participants section, which is very annoying when people want to keep others in the loop and not have to add each individual.

"organizations" sort of work like groups, but it's all manual.  Somebody joins the company, I have to manually add them to the organization.  It would be SOOOO much better if you could add groups here or elsewhere.  My jira groups come from the directory server so it's very easy to maintain.  Just nothing about that translates to SD.

Anyone else come accross this or know if something is on the horizon?

Thanks,
