I am trying to get our JSM Customers to be able to see the OpsGenie on-call schedule, but haven't figured out how to make this work.
I have subscribed a shared Outlook calendar to OpsGenie, and the OpsGenie information shows on that calendar (IT Help Desk) for this user. If the IT Help Desk calendar is shared to the rest of the company, the subscribed events from OpsGenie do not show.
In the past we maintained the on-call schedule in a Confluence spreadsheet that most of the company had access to, but we want to keep only one source of truth that everyone can view.
Ideally, the on-call schedule would be available from the JSM Portal (even if it had to be an announcement that contained a link to it), but I can't figure out how to get that to work either.
Has anyone come up with a good way to make this schedule visible to everyone who uses JSM and not just the licensed OpsGenie agents?
Sorry for the thread necro but now that Opsgenie is integrated with JSM is there any way to surface the current on-call for each Team on a Confluence page? We wanted to replace our old homegrown on-call database application with JSM Ops but if users can't find the list of the current on-call person from each team in one place without a JSM license then that means I will have to build my own script to fetch the current on-call via API and publish to a Confluence page.
Hi Jerry,
I understand you are wanting a way to allow more users that are not opsgenie licensed agents to see the Who is on-call information. At the moment we don't have a means to do this, but we are tracking this feature request within https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-11413
Currently only adding these users to the opsgenie team is the only clear way to grant those users access to view that information directly.
