Hi,
This may be a dumb question but can you limit who can be assigned an issue if there is a referenced Jira group in an issue.
Based on an issue category a 'queue' is assigned, these queues are Assets objects that are linked to a Jira group.
Is there a way to limit to only members of that group per issue that can be assigned an issue.
I can see the 'Assign Issue' automation that does limit assigning a ticket to a group but it HAS to be assigned to someone with random, round robin etc.
It would be good to have that bound to a group but left unassigned so a triage team member can assign the ticket to a team member but ONLY from the group members available.
Hi Steven,
in the permission scheme you have an permission for "Assignable User". Here you should find whats you are looking for.
