Hi there,
I would like to program my knowledge base space as it is promised on your Jira Demo page. When setting up my initial screen of knowledge base space, I would like to place the interactive search box into the nice background.
However, at the moment what happens is that the interactive search box is being placed below my picture.
What I am trying to achieve is:
What is currently happening is that my search box is getting thrown below my background picture. (I don't want it nor above or below, I need it inside the background.)
Could anyone advise on how could I achieve this? Please note, the blue background is just a JPG (the current search box in the blue background is just drafted by me, it is not interactive, it is just the desired outcome).
Thank you in advance!
Hello @Support Agent,
Thank you for your question.
What is shown on the ITSM demo video is the default of a customer portal.
When linking a Confluence space to a Service Desk project, customers will be able to search for articles in the portal and not in Confluence directly.
The image that you shared as the one you want to achieve you can find on https://yoursite.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals.
The second image I can see that it contains the "livesearch" macro and this is used in Confluence and not in the Jira Service Desk customer portal.
I created the article below as a guide to use the customer portal, please take your time to check because it shows all the features that customers will be able to access in the portal:
For more details about using Confluence as knowledge base for customers, check the documentation below:
