Incident update Notification in slack within thread

Dear Team,

I am trying to send Incident update using Slack notification feature but everytime it create a new notification for the same Incident instead using thread option for the same Incident.

In short I would like to have one slack Incident Notification for the Incident and update of the same Incidents should appear in the thread and not everytime a new Notification for the same Incident.

I assume slack notification step would not work (shown in attachment) and I need to use Automation feature ?

Any suggestion or tips would be appreciated

Alternatively there are some third-party Slack integrations on the Atlassian Marketplace. You could have a look at those marketplace apps and see if one fits the use-case you have.
