Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Go to issues -> search, and run one for "status in (the status we consider to be closed)"

Hi Nicholas,

Welcome to the community!

When do you mean historical issues, are you looking for some specific information or just to check closed issues?

As Nic mentioned above, you can perform a basic search by performing the following steps:

  1. Choose Search > View all issues.
    If the advanced search is shown instead of basic, click Switch to basic.
  2. Set your search criteria, like ProjectStatus, and Assignee.
  3. Optionally, enter text to search for and add more criteria by clicking +More.
  4. Click Search.

I strongly recommend checking the documentation below about the different type of search that you can perform:

Please check the information above and let me know how it goes.

Kind regards,

Carlos

@Nicholas Mulry -

Welcome to the community.  In addition to what @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- mentioned, you can also click on "Filters" >> "Advanced issue search" from the top menu bar to create your necessary JQL search.  From there, you can also save your JQL search as a saved filter for re-use.
