Hi, I have a problem regarding transferring comments between projects. How can I make the comments get added to an issue when cloning the issue to another project?
If you are willing to use a third-party app you can use our Deep Clone for Jira app.
Deep Clone can clone all comments and attachments to your new issue.
It's free for up to 10 users and you can test the app for 30 days.
Hi Mikołaj,
If you are open to 3rd party apps you can try out my company's new tool - Issue Sync Lite. It's free, easy to configure, and lets you automatically copy issues between projects (and instances) along with their data like custom field values, comments, attachments, or statuses.
Our team will be happy to show you the app during the free demo!
Best regards,
Kasia

Hello @Mikołaj Ogrzywalski
You can do this easily with our Copy & Sync application.
You can clone issues and all their comments, and you can also synchronize them if you want to keep consistency between the two projects.
Don't hesitate to take a look at our app, it's free under 10 users and you have a 30-Day trial. I'm sure you will find plenty of useful features :)
Let me know if you have questions!

Hi,
This is Majid @ Exalate.
If the source and target projects are on the same Jira instance, then Jira automation would be the most efficient solution here. But if these issues are on different Jira Instances, you will need to employ an integration app like Exalate to get this done.
Hope it helps.
Thanks
Majid

@Mikołaj Ogrzywalski hey there. I see Jira Automation is already mentioned. I'd just drop another tool that might be useful - a no-code integration platform called ZigiOps. It easily syncs data bi-directionally, allowing a granular control over the mapping and other functionalities. Feel free to check it out and even try our free trial.
