How to change status in email log from failed to new request

Once we deleted the request type used by the email channel, we faced a problem with the remained email request in the log. Afterward, I changed the default request type for email requests into the new one, since the older one was deleted, but I could not find a way to change the status from failed to new request for remained emails in the log.
