Hello Team,
We are using a cascading field with context to list all respective project parent and child values and we have a requirement to auto-populate the parent of cascading field based on request type selected in JSM customer portal on cloud. Could you please suggest us the best method to achieve this?
Example:
We have a project named "HR" with request types "Onboarding", "Offboarding", "Leaves"
We have a cascading field with values as below;
Parent: Child
1. Onboarding: Appointment Letter
Onboarding: Access Request
Onboarding: Other
2. Offboarding: Relieving Letter
Offboarding: Clearance
Offboarding: Other
Requirement is, whenever a request type in JSM portal is selected as "Onboarding", the cascading fields parent should also be selected as "Onboarding", so that it will list the child values of only "Onboarding"
Note: We are using JSM cloud the concept of script runner behaviours will not work.
Regards,
Murthy
Hey,
You can use Context from which you can predefined the value against each issue type or project.
