Can I read a custom form field from an automation?

I'm using a custom form for a certain type of Service Request.

I want an automation to read the value in that form field and use it to populate a field on the Service Request.

I don't see any way to refer to the form field in the automation. Is that possible?

Hi Mary:

Are you referring to a custom field defined in Proforma Form?  If so, I don't believe it is available in Automation for Jira rule configuration.  However, if your Form field (in your Form configuration) is associated to an actual custom field in JSM project (i.e. the field is actually linked to a JSM system custom field), then it will be available for Automation for Jira rule configuration if it is exposed to your JSM project issue.

I guess it is a Proforma Form. I didn't realize that was the term for it.
