Automation usage limit exceeded

We are getting the error as "You've reached your monthly limit for one or more products. Automation usage will reset at the start of the next month" under Automation configured rules. All the automation rules are not getting triggered.
Please help us asap on how to fix it since it's affecting our productivity management.

I have raised a support request as well yesterday but still didn't receive the response for it.

@Thivyabrabha Ganesan -

Unfortunately, you will have to wait for Atlassian Support's assistance at this time.  In the Cloud env, here is a reference on the new automation execution limits started since Nov 1st, 2023  -

https://www.atlassian.com/blog/announcements/cloud-automation-packaging-update

Here is how executions are counted as a guideline for you - https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/how-is-my-usage-calculated/

Lastly, this following page gives a good suggestion on pitfall to avoid in designing your automation rules - https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/automation-service-limits/

Hope this also helps.

Best, Joseph Chung Yin

Dependently on automation, there is one more solution than changing the Jira plan. You can try a third-party add-on. Changing Jira's rate plan is more costly than subscribing to a third-party SLA add-on.

I suggest the SLA Time and Report for Jira Cloud with the following automation actions:

It contains many other features besides unlimited Automation. For example, you will have unlimited SLAs and SLA goals, no limits on the number of your saved report filters, and so on.

So far, there are no restrictions on functionality, and immediately after payment, you get unlimited automation, SLA configurations, report export, and all other add-on features.

Try a 30-day trial to see if you're satisfied with these options. My team developed this add-on, so if you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them.

Welcome to the crowd! Jira now found a way to really mess people up!

Because of this limit, I'll no longer be able to use Jira, after all this time and effort, it is time to move on. Just sad.

Hi @Thivyabrabha Ganesan

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!!!

I assumed that you are using cloud instance.

The automations are totally depends on the plan that you choose for your product.

you can find the details by following the path below:

setting cogwheel >> system >> global automation >> usage

You have to contact the Atlassian support they are assisting in better ways.

I have attached one community article related to your You've reached your monthly rule execution limit. Upgrade your plan to increase your limit.

If you find this is helpful to you, accept it for other😊.
