Is it possible to schedule and auto-create a recurring Jira Service Desk Ticket? Example: We want a member of the IT team to regularly perform maintenance on a piece of equipment.
We want to accommodate the fact that some team members may be on vacation, or change roles, etc, thus it could be picked up by other team members. We want this "reminder" ticket to hit our portal on a regular (timed) basis. We are using Jira cloud.

Using the Automation add-on
Jira Administration > System > Automation Rules (left hand-side) > Create Rule
Under "All Components" look for "Scheduled"
Set your "Fixed Rate" and choose "Simply run the conditions and actions without providing issues"
New Action > Create Issue
From there you should be able to modify as needed.
