How to add additional fields to custom field search

Question

I created a new field called Due Date/Time. I want to be able to search for all Due Data/Time but when I go into the search I do not see the same options as the defaule Due Date field.

See image 1 is my custom field options:

However the Default Due Date filed set by Jira has these additional options:

How can i duplicate the default search fields into my custom field?

Hi,

Due Date is type "date picker" , and your new field might be "datetime picker"?  So the options may differ based on that different.   But if you're looking for a search that isn't in the pull down selections you can switch to advanced jql.
