simple query returning limited date range....why??

scott.fawcett December 3, 2019

This is my query

issue.property[jmwe-created-from].key is not EMPTY

It returns results that range from June 17, 2019 - current, but I have examples of tickets that are older than that.  There's nothing magical that I can figure out about that date.  And nothing in the query puts any restrictions on a date range.

It returns 76 tickets, so it can't be related to the size of the return list.

The intent is to find tickets that are automatically generated by the Service Desk in my Jira project.

In full disclosure the query was provided to me from this forum, so I can't say I know a lot about it.

Any idea why this doesn't find older tickets?

Unfortunately, the jmwe-created-from issue entity property was added to JMWE in version 1.1.13-AC, released 2019-06-15. This explains what you are seeing.

Ahhh.  That makes sense.  And that's fine because I want to primarily use this to start gathering metrics in 2020.  Thanks much.
