Votes Per Month (or alternative way)

Hi,

I would like to use Votes as amethod of increasing the weight of a task/idea but as the board is a continuous development board simply giving a fixed amount of votes would be redundent after a month or 2.

Are there any methods of implementing a way for the user to vote (or something similar) once per task/idea.

Voting would work, i could just give a really large limit but then i believe they can use multiple votes on a single task/idea which i don't want.

We have an open internal feature request for this type of functionality - where voting is similar to Jira, and a user can vote on any issue once vs. having to increase the total votes a user can have like with JPD currently. 

I've gone ahead and added this Community post as a +1 towards it. Unfortunately we do not have a public URL to share, but the ticket for reference is JPD-48: Have JPD vote feature similar to Jira's
