Hi Team
As product members, we get daily product ideas and feedback from internal and external stakeholders on different platforms. I am grateful that the product discovery plugin in Chrome is helping a lot to capture this numerous feedback. However, I am struggling to capture insights from Slack because it doesn't display the content coming from Slack ( perhaps due to private channels).
Steps I follow:
Go to a Slack conversation.
Select the text to capture
Message options -> Add to the issue
Select a project -> Select an issue ( existing idea) -> Write a summary of insight.
When I go back to the idea page and check, it shows me only the Slack archive link with the summary I wrote but not the conversation text I captured.
Have you tried running Slack from Chrome? It seems to have the same features and functionality I need.
I just opened it to test out as per your suggestion. However, I see a new issue - I cannot find existing ideas to add this insight to the project. This is happening on browsers and apps both.
However, I can add insight from Slack on Chrome using the product discovery plugin.
Thanks for the help @Robert Barbosa
PS: Do you think the Slack integration is currently defying the purpose? The PD browser plugin is working as expected. How can we flag Slack about this integration issue?
