We love being able to create different views and share with the business the ideas that will involve multiple teams. This is especially useful when we look at our roadmap and plans. We'd love to be able to reorder the priority of an idea that is shared between multiple teams but so the ordering is only changed in a specific teams view. We don't want it to impact the ordering of other teams views.
An example of this is, Idea 1 needs to be worked on by teams A and B. For Team A this idea is the highest priority so would be at the top of their view. For Team B however this is only priority number 3 as it's a smaller piece of work for them and they have other ideas that are of more importance to their specific work stream. Therefore we'd love to be able to put Idea 1 as priority number 3 for Team B in their view, however we'd still like Idea 1 to show as priority number 1 for Team A in their view.
Is there a way to make this happen please so that we can still see which teams are working on an idea but also see the differing priorities per team using the views?
Hi @Mark_Gallier , there is a way, if you use "view rank" for ideas:
That way each view for which you select this option will have its own rank for ideas in this project.
That is just available for each view independently of each other though. For example you wouldn't be able to create 5 views for team A, 5 views for team B, and having each "view set" work with a specific ranking.
Hi @Tanguy Crusson thanks for coming back to me so quickly.
Thanks for pointing this out. What we're after is having the one view like you have above but we've grouped by teams and then within each team there could be a shared idea so it shows up multiple times in that view - and that's what we're trying to rank within the one view. But it sounds as though this isn't possible?

Yeah nah, that's not going to be possible like that, within one view.
