Links added to insigts by contributors don't link issues

Edited

Hi everyone,

We recently started using Jira Product Discovery, and we've run into an issue(?).

Steps:

1. A contributor (support engineer) puts down an Insights to an Idea, specifying the ticket link in the Link field:

2. They save the insight.

Now, when I do the same steps (I'm a Creator in the JPD project), the linked case gets a linked issue that says "added to idea...". But when the Contributor does that, nothing happens.

Is this an expected thing? Because it sure does look like an oversight.

UPD: To add to this and to my suspicion that this is an oversight -- an engineer can explicitly try and link an idea to a support case (i.e., open support case and click Link Issue and specify an idea), and at first it appears linked. But after the refresh the link is gone.
