The Timeline view in JPD is good, but it lacks the ability to color code the entire effort bar when visualizing. With everything just black and white, its super difficult to differentiate categories of efforts, or draw attention to groupings/individual efforts in the view. I'm using these timelines at the C level of my organization and having to recreate some of the visuals because of this roadblock. I've tried putting labels and different categories on my cards. This all works fine and good in the roadmap view but again, is not visualizing in the timeline view. What am I missing or is this just not available yet? If not now... when? Please and thank yoU!

However you can add multiple fields to cards in the timeline view if you use the compact or detailed layout for cards:
if you use the summary layout, you can add one field to the card:
Thanks for the update @Tanguy Crusson - this isnt a blocker at all, but its interesting functionality to have. Is there a feature request where I can follow along to see if/when the work is prioritized?

Just coming here to say that I would also like this same functionality. Particularly in the Summary view with no fields selected - it would help to visually separate what we're grouping by. Thanks!
