Is there a way to show the estimate from a linked delivery ticket? The 1-5 effort score is nice, but doesn't give enough nuance in some cases (especially at the low and high ends of the scale). For example right now for us a 1 could mean anything up to 1 week and a 5 is pretty much anything > 1 month. Seeing the difference between a 1 that is 1 day or less vs a 1 that takes the full week helps in determining the pecking order.
Hi @jonathan_tate thanks for sharing this feature request with us. If I understand correctly you have Jira Software issues with story point estimates, and linked ideas that you need to prioritise. Can you please share a bit more context.
Right now the way to show a Jira Software story point field within Jira Product Discovery would be to create a field in Jira Product Discovery for the story point then keep the two in sync through automation, but I think you're hoping to achieve something else here.
Hi @Rohan Swami, that sounds like what I need, just not sure how I would go about it. Whether linked directly from the delivery ticket or kept in sync via automation it achieves the same result.
Thinking about ease of use though, right now I can link in a delivery ticket and it can show the delivery progress based on statuses of the child tickets of an epic or the status of a single ticket. It would be really useful if I could also display fields from the linked ticket e.g. delivery ticket owner, estimate etc....

Although I can appreciate why it might be difficult to do this given it can be a one to many relationship.

Yep, the 1:many relationship would make this tricky! Would you like to book some time in with me to discuss your use case? https://calendly.com/rswami-atlassian/jira-product-discovery-and-delivery
