How to link Atlas goals to JPD ideas?

As I remember, earlier we had a field called Atlas Project/Atlas Goal. Now I simply can't find the way to link ideas to Atlas Goals/projects - it seems to be removed somehow. Is it due to the changes announced, that Atlas is disappearing, and will be included in Jira? Is there any solution to group the ideas now by the goal they support?

@Gergely Fehér maybe you've used it on another site (xyz.atlassian.net) because it wasn't turned on for the site you're using now. We've just turned it on there.

Thank you very much - and yes it can happen that I saw it on other site.

There was an announcement that integration of Atlas into PD is in beta. But I didn’t know more about this.

This is a rather interesting idea. How did you group the ideas according to the supported goals you had, earlier?

I have added Business goals as a field that I attach each idea to. Then I just filter the ideas according to the goals I need to look at, but if there where an easier way on the eye, I am more than interested. I would be much easier for Stakeholders to straight away easy see different groups of ideas connected to each business goal for example.

I am interested in learning more about this beta feature, and do not have access to it yet.

How are the items in the dropdown list initially filtered?

Does it simply show all, and then you filter it? Asking from the perspective of a large org, where there are currently 20k goals and growing and I would only intially need to see the business and engineering goals for our product group.

Hi @Doug Rhoten and @oliver_boban_alempijevic  you can see it in action in the second video in this post: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Product-Discovery-articles/Upcoming-product-improvements-Atlas-integration-ready-for-early/ba-p/2195274

It took a while but we're now putting the final touches to be able to turn it on for everyone in production in the next few weeks.

Doug: initially you have none, and as you search and link a goal to an idea it then becomes available the next times you open the dropdown on other ideas.
