Is there a way to round up all of the insights across all ideas into one filterable/navigable list? I'd also like to be able to duplicate them to other ideas from that view and apply labels, etc.
My use case:
As I collect insights across many channels, many of them are applicable to a number of different ideas. It's convenient to copy an insight from one idea to another (which is already possible), but once I navigate away from that idea, I can't remember where that insight lives if later I want to duplicate it to another idea.
I think this is a good idea. One step further would be to allow us to save insights that do not have a particular idea yet. I have seen this in other products like Productboard.
Essentially, sometimes when deep into something else I come across something that is insightful and I want to save but either:
It would be much easier if I could just capture the insight and then at a later time, sort through the list of unassigned insights that have accumulated.
It seems Like Ted solved this by adding all insights to confluence first but that seems a bit cumbersome and does not utilize the convenience offered by the JPD chrome add-in.
What about having a "dummy" idea that will hold all insights w/out ideas?
Wouldn't that do the trick?

We just need a hub to store the actual insights/interviews/recordings. Its a mix of sharepoint/confluence/tooling at the moment, which is cumbersome indeed.
The chrome add-in is handy but it doesn't allow us to review and organise the insights etc.

Missed opportunity to make insights a first-level object in my opinion.
To properly use this tool you need to already know what to do with ur user feedback before logging it. Why not just use JIRA Software directly at this point? This seems backwards...
User Feedback -> Idea -> ... -> Software Ticket

We made a "bucket" for insights that don't have an idea yet. And then every so often go through the bucket and see if we can create new ideas from the insights we've found.
Would be great indeed if we could see links from insight to insight if they're copied.
I was inspired by the way Jira does it in this webinar: https://webinars.atlassian.com/atlassian/How-to-Uplevel-Your-Product-Discovery-Practice-with-Jira-Product-Discovery-EU

+1
I don't think there is a way to currently do this.
You can create a list where you have as a filter "insights" and then select "greater than 1" (for example). You can also use the insights impact as a filter if you use those, to narrow down to ideas where you have high-impact insights.
But that doesn't quite get you there. What we currently do is store insights in Confluence and organize them there, and then link into them as necessary from the relevant ideas.
