Disable required vote description

Hi there, I want users to be able to votes for an idea on our project. So I used the field type Votes, when adding a vote Jira asks for a Description, I don'n want that, I want users to just say "Yes, I want this" without having the hassle to make a reason.

As for some sort of a workaround (since required-description part of the vote field option cannot currently be disabled), you could create some sort of reaction field where users can provide a thumbs up, thumbs down, etc. with just a click of a button. This is somewhat similar to the vote option provided with Jira and JSM:
