Can we use issue collector with JPD?

Issue collectors are somehow hidden for Jira Product Discovery. I am not sure if this is configuration of our instance or some default behavior. However, one can access the issue collectors under https://[yourcompany].atlassian.net/secure/ViewCollectors!default.jspa?projectKey=[JPD project key]

Here, I am able to setup the issue collector and use it to push ideas to JPD project.

Can we use it in production? Would be not great if feedback form is broken or does not collect feedback.

As I understand and know JPD product issue collector is not available there.

Yes, it is not visible in the UX. If you however follow the correct link, JIRA will allow you to create collectors for the JPD project type and will allow to submit the ideas through the collector.
