Super frustrating. Every time I try to assign an idea, I get the following message and the "Assignee" appears on the row but does not save and disappears next time the screen is refreshed.
Hi everyone, we apologize, it looks like this issue's been open for a while and it slipped through the cracks!
Basically this happens because you are trying to assign an idea to someone who is not a creator (doesn't have a license). You can only assign ideas to licensed users (it's deep in the Jira platform, not something we can change).
We are looking into it now - but the way we'll fix that is to make sure these users don't appear in the dropdown.
A workaround we recommend for this, if you want to assign ideas to contributors, is that you create a separate field of type "People". Contributors are available for selection there.
OK the issue should be fixed now

Does your assignee have the correct permissions for your JPD project?
Have a look in your project settings > access to view your creators and contributors

I have the same problem (even when no filters are applied) and it has also been reported here (looks like you found this post too, Idan). @Rohan Swami this is a real bug experienced by multiple users, can you please provide an update?
