Hi all,
Sorry if this has already been asked! I'm working with a few internal stakeholders (services and support teams) on accessing JPD for updates to ideas or requests they submit on behalf of their customers.
One question that has come up is on how they can export the lists on their own so that they can put that together with other items that aren't ideas, i.e. work that doesn't require product research or development, when presenting project or status updates in their meetings.
As a contributor, the export/cloud download button shows but when it is clicked, it says that they don't have permission. Based on the permission settings, it doesn't seem like a Contributor will be able to export views. Is this correct? If so, is there anything planned to allow them to in the future?
I'm also trying to come up with alternatives in case the above is true:
Thanks!
Hi @Andrew Lintag , I just checked and you're right! Only creators can export. Let me discuss with the team to see if we could give it to contributors (it does seem to make sense)
Hi @Andrew Lintag, alternatively you could take a look at Released.
It allows you to create a board view with tickets from Jira, JPD and JSM project, specifically build for presenting project plans / status.
