📣 Bug fixes & improvements (Mar-Apr)

Hi everyone! 

As shared by Tanguy last month, Jira Product Discovery will soon become GA !

In the meantime, we continue to improve every bit of experience in Jira Product Discovery, thanks to your suggestions and the bugs you've raised. Here are some of the recent improvements we've made in Jira Product Discovery: 

Usability

• Possibility to reorder the "No value" group: By default, the "No value" group is always displayed at the end, but you can now move it around
• Improve search function in the delivery section: Issues linked at the idea level were not retrieved in the delivery panel. You can now see them, and we've added a visual indicator for already linked issues. 🔗

• Improved search in multi-select fields: You can now search your multi-select field options by number 🎉

• Clean URL for copy: You can now copy a shortURL to the idea, next to the idea key, more convenient to paste into external tools and in the linked issue section of Jira Software tickets
• Ability to add watchers + use the "w" shortcut 👁️
• Allow negative numbers in formula weighting
• Add a delete button in the issue toolbar 
• Open views in new tabs thanks to right click
• Possibility to add comments, insights & delivery tickets while the vote panel is open in the full-screen idea view

Displays 

• Responsive Matrix view: Your Matrix now looks better if your highest value is lower than 10

• The "hidden field" icon is now always visible in front of hidden fields

• Added empty status to filtered/empty views and "Other fields" section

Admin feature/ Reliability 

• Move Jira Product Discovery projects to trash 🗑️: You can now delete a Jira Product Discovery project and find it in the trash of the site in case you need to restore it
• Data validation on hyperlink field: We now prevent the ability to add an incorrect ULR or string of text in the hyperlink field
• Added an informative error message on custom roles creations: If the name or the description of the role was too long, the creation failed with "something went wrong" message 

Other fixed bugs 

• [Firefox] List views were empty after opening an idea in full view
• Filter "number of insights" wasn't working properly
• Inline edit didn't close when switching to full-screen mode
• Archive view was empty after sorting a view with project rank
• Missing field values in JPEG export
• Idea template menu disappeared if the template description was too long
• Error of display in cards display on the compact mode of the board view
• Views were duplicated when copied
• Board columns not staying in their position
• People and short text fields values were persistent when switching to another idea
