we have Jira desktop and want to install Jira Mobile on premises. Have you experience installing and deploying it? How long it take in average for an standard implementation?

Hi Hernan,

Welcome to the community. Can you articulate what you mean by Jira desktop? Do you have a marketplace app which allows you to operate Jira from an application?

Normally Jira is accessed through a browser, so it's not typically seen from the perspective of a desktop.

As for the deployment of Jira mobile, if you're on Jira Server - this requires a minimum version (?time for an upgrade) and Jira running over https if it's not already. If you're on Jira cloud, then you're good to go.

Deployment of the mobile app will depend on how your team run - do you have an MDM in place? Is your team large? Otherwise you can simply instruct users to download the appropriate app, punch in the URL for Jira and their credentials, and that should be about it :)
