Subtasks not listing under parent with fixVersion option

JIRA Gurus,

How come subtasks are not displayed when I use:

project = <Project> AND fixVersion = <Version> AND Sprint = <Sprint#> ORDER BY Rank ASC.

subtasks are listed under their parents only when I remove the fixversion.

What am I doing wrong?

Your query requires your subtasks to also have the fixVersion completed in order for it to work.

You would need to use one of the plugins to extend the functionality of JQL to allow you to query the values of the parent issue.

What plugin were you referring to specifically? Any pointers would be appreciated!

I created a filter like InnocentSprint did and it worked fine without the fixVersion.
