Grant User access only one project on JSW cloud

Hi Experts,

kindly I tried to let a user access only one project, by

1- creating external Group

2- I added the user to the  New Group

3- I added the  software product to the Group

4 - removed user from any other groups

But :), the  user still can see all projects list,

So where is the Trick

Regards

Mustafa

Hello @Mustafa Mansour

What you just described is to allow product access (in this case, Jira).  In other words, as a site admin or org admin you allowed your user to have access to Jira and occupy a Jira license.

Permissions to projects within Jira and access to individual projects are different from this and are controlled within Jira.  For a company-managed project, access is governed through the permissions in the project's permission scheme, in this case, Browse Projects.

For team-managed projects, access is governed by the role assigned to the user.  I don't think you're looking at team-managed projects from what you described.

The following note should be helpful.

Hi @Robert Wen_ReleaseTEAM_

Yes you are right, I added him as licensed user, and on company managed project type
