Why aren't features mapping to their state in a process flow?

I set up a process flow for features in Jira Align.  I assigned a state to each column.  When I bring up the feature kanban in the Feature Backlog the features are all mapping to the first column regardless of their state.

Hello Kurt!

Which process step did you assign to the respective features?

If there is no process step to assign on any feature, that needs to be enabled by your Jira Align administration first.

Best regards

Philipp
