Hi,

According to Develop on Cadence & Release on Demand  in SAFe 6.x, it seems that Planning Interval is not the same thing as Release. How do you think of it?

Thanks,

YY Brother

No it is not:

Planning Interval is just a cadence-based timebox, typically 10-12 weeks.

Release is batch in any size of work teams deliver.

Since you're asking the question in Jira Align community, I would emphasize the point that Jira Align fits very well to this and further approaches regarding release delivery.

I hope this helps.

Best wishes,

Thanks Ahmet. Then Jira Align product team needs to modify it.
