PHI Within Jira Align how to go about removing it?

Currently we have Jira and Jira Align connected. When there is a situation that PHI is input into a Jira issue, we remove the PHI, then Clone the issue without the PHI. Then permanently delete the issue that contained PHI to remove the History of the issue. However, since Jira and Jira Align are connected there is the possibility that PHI could connect over to Align. Are there any recommended steps to take when removing any traces of PHI within Jira Align?

Hi Alexis,

I don't think you attended the original training, but there is a 2-step process for removing records in Jira Align that may have sync'd up from a since deleted item in Jira. 

1. Simply find the item and select More Options, then scroll down and click Delete to move it to the Recycle Bin. 

2. Go to the work item grid list view for the applicable item (e.g. Story) and Permanently Delete.
