When a story closes in Jira, we expect it to show as Accepted in Align. Currently it does not.
At the story level, the Jira State ID for Closed is set and the description is Closed. Using the drop down for Jira Align State, we do not see the option for 5 - Accepted. Our options are:
When an item is closed in Jira, the progress bar only shows it as far as 4 - Test Complete.
State mapping at the project level for stories includes 5 - Accepted which we have set.
Question 1: Why don't we see "5 - Accepted" at the story level for State Mapping? (Jira Settings > State Mapping > Story
Question 2: Do we need to turn on the "Enable Progress to state mapping" option? (Platform > Portfolio Specific Configuration > Enable Progress to state mapping)
@Rebecca Hylek There is no mapping on the State Mapping tab, for stories, to map a Jira status to the Jira Align state of Accepted because this is controlled by the Resolution date custom field on the Jira Setup tab.
By default, this field is set as the Resolution Date; meaning, when a resolution is selected on a story in Jira, the date is generated and then population of that date is used to mark the story as Accepted in Jira Align. If multiple resolutions other than Done are being used, there is an alternative custom field that can be created to drive the story as being marked as Accepted in Jira Align.

Glad to help! Also, if you made a configuration change and haven't done so already, make sure to resync the configuration to apply that change and sync items appropriately in Jira Align.
