Is it possible to automate the close of a PI and the launch of a new PI?

In our organisation, the development team are closing the last PI of 2022 close to the end of December (a day or two after Christmas), and the new PI kicks off immediately. Normally I would close the previous PI and launch the new one, but it's a day or so after Christmas and I will be on Annual Leave. Is there a way I can automate this?

Hi @NCR_FRG there isn't a way to automate the closing and starting of PIs in Jira Align. You programatically update the status through the Jira Align APIs using Release PUT API. A no code/low code tool like Workato allows you to create integrations with APIs without having to write code which may be a good option for this.
