Hi @Mark Northcott , Jira Align Enterprise Insights is a SQL Server data warehouse that you can connect to (via SQL Server DB connection) using a data visualization software such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI to create custom reports and dashboards. If you just want to write SQL queries, you can connect to it using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. If you have your own data warehouse, you can export the data to your data warehouse via ETL as well. On the Jira Align help website, you can download the  database schema for the latest Enterprise Insights release. You will need to create a login for the help website if you done that already to access the Enterprise Insights schema. Enterprise Insights has most of the data that is available in your Jira Align instance which has been transformed to be more easily consumed. You will also find historical tables that allow you query data in a specific point in time and even things like the platform terminology configured in your instance.

Hello Sam. This is more information than I've been able to find. Thanks for your guidance

Could you send us a link for where to download the database schema?

@Jason Here is the link to the page on the Jira Align Help Center. In order to access the page you first need to sign up on the Jira Align Help Center. See the screenshot below on how to do that.

Just as a FYI, we were able to get EI working, visible within our organisation and now users are able to produce reporting in Power BI. Our next step is to copy/clone into our data lake.

Anyone had experience with that? Sam, you mentinoed ETL.

@Mark Northcott The EI Schema file (see link in my previous post) that is published for every release has a Scripts tab that contains SQL scripts to recreate the EI tables in your data lake. Your data lake may have an ETL tool to copy extract, transform and load the data into your data lake. You will need to use the export_dw views in EI when you ETL the data to your data lake which has the deleted records flagged so that those records can be deleted from your data lake.
