We’re currently trying to determine if we can configure both SSO while also allowing external users to use their JIRA Align credentials.
The scenario would be that internal users will be able to use their own company credentials for SSO, then for external/3rd party users they will be able to access using their account via Manual sign in.
I set “Disabled Manual Sign In” No hoping this will allow us to do it however this defaults to the JIRA Align sign in page where using company credentials don’t work.
If we want both SSO and Manual sign in in place, are you aware of any other configurations we need to make besides setting “Disabled Manual Sign In” to No?
Hey @badong.jm ! You actually do have it configured properly to allow SSO and manual sign in. However, when going to the direct Jira Align URL, all users will be presented with the option to log in with their email. You will need to provide your SSO users with the SSO sign in URL to have them log in via SSO as opposed to their email address. Hope this helps!
There is some SSO information in our help that may be helpful as well. https://help.jiraalign.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000374374-10X-SSO-Settings
