hipchat displayname truncated with ldap/AD

Hello,

I setup HipChat Server with external ldap/AD and the users are getting imported, however the displayname field for all our users is "lastname, firstname".  When emails and the "welcome" message appears during HipChat login, the users see  "lastname, " and thats it.

Example:

Welcome, lastname,


Any way to change this logic aside from changing the displayname mapping field to givenname ?

Weird. In HipChat, there is only "displayname". You could raise this as a bug?
