What is the password policy for hipchat server

We are needing documentation on what the HipChat Server password policy is for users. Is it configurable? Is there any other documentation for HipChat in regards to account security?

Hi Nathan,

Currently, there isn't any password expiration policy for passwords setup inside HipChat Server. The passwords are set by the user when their account is created and can be only changed by the user. You may be interested in reading Administering HipChat Server, but there isn't any documentation on account security specifically, that I'm aware of.
